ANNOUNCEMENTS
February 22, 2026
- This Lent, Bishop Senior is inviting Catholics across the diocese to fast with him each Wednesday for vocations. Through this simple act of sacrifice, we unite our prayers for an increase in men responding generously to God’s call.
- Stations of the Cross will be held every Friday during Lent at 7:15 PM in the church, and on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm (followed by Mass) we will walk through the Stations of the Cross through the eyes of Mary.
- The Rose Knights of Columbus invite you to a FREE Grand Slam Breakfast on Sunday, March 1st, following the 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM Masses. Bring your family and your appetite—everyone is welcome!
- Teens in grades 6 through 12 are invited to a free Teen Lenten Reflection on Saturday, March 7th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. We’ll take a closer look at why Lent calls us to prayer, fasting, and sacrifice. The morning will include reflections led by Joseph Gonzalez, youth minister at St. John the Baptist in New Freedom, along with food and fun games. Register today.
- Men of the parish, during this Lenten season you are invited to grow deeper in your devotion to St. Joseph—the patron of the Church, model of husbands and fathers, and faithful worker. Come learn more about his virtues, his relationship with Our Lord and Our Lady, and how we can imitate him in our daily vocations. This Men’s Lenten Reflection will be held on Saturday, March 21st, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
- Women of the parish—do you ever feel stretched by busy days and heavy responsibilities? Life moves quickly, and it can be easy to lose sight of our giftedness. You are invited to pause and see yourself and the world around you with a fresh, Christ-centered perspective. Join us for a Women’s Lenten Reflection on Saturday, March 28th, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. This reflection will be held at our school in Thomasville. Please register today.
We hope you’ll take part in these many opportunities to grow together in faith this Lenten season.
Our OCIA sessions are underway on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the Catholic faith or to invite a family member or friend who may be interested in becoming Catholic. New participants are welcome to join at any time. For more information, please call the parish office or see Len Mialki.
