• Rose’s Advent Penance Service is Monday, December 16th at 6:00 pm. Several priests will be available to hear confessions.
  
  
• This Wednesday at 7 pm, the final Advent ecumenical service will be hosted by St. Matthew’s. We encourage you to join us for this worship service followed by light refreshments. Please note, there will be no 6:00 pm Mass nor Confession on Wednesday.
  
  
• Parents of children who will be serving in our 4:00 Christmas Eve Mass will have rehearsal on Monday, December 23^rd. For altar servers and readers rehearsal starts promptly at 2:00 pm and children’s choir rehearsal begins at 3:00 pm.
  
  
• A new bible study will be starting in January – Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible. This eight-part Bible study will help you uncover the story woven throughout Scripture so you can get the “big picture” of the Bible with unique resources to help you understand and gain confidence on how you fit into God’s plan.  Visit our website or see the posters at the entrances for more details.

Many Catholics want to read the Bible but get bogged down by the long stretches that seem not to make sense or get lost among the sea of Old Testament names and places. Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible, an eight-part Bible study, helps you uncover the story woven throughout Scripture, so you can get the “big picture” of the Bible and understand what it’s all about. Aided by a unique color-coded Bible Timeline Chart that arranges the key people, places, and events of the Bible in chronological order, Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible will help you pick up the Bible with confidence and understand how you fit into God’s plan.

St. Rose Church will begin the Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible study on Thursday, January 30th at 6:30 pm in the Convent Dining Room.  Participants will meet every Thursday for 8 weeks to view an engaging video presentation followed by a time of lively group discussion and fellowship.  For more information or to register, contact Jen Riley at jenriley85@outlook.com.
