ANNOUNCEMENTS
Sunday, August 17

  1. Come Spend Time with Jesus!
Rose of Lima Church invites you to our 40 Hours Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament — Sunday, August 24th through Tuesday, August 26th. Each day begins after morning Mass and concludes with Evening Prayer beginning at 7:00 pm.

We encourage everyone to come each evening, but especially on Closing Night (Tuesday) when Bishop Timothy Senior will be with us to lead the Closing Ceremony with Benediction. What a beautiful opportunity to pray together as a parish family!

Also, please consider signing up to cover one or more hours of adoration so that Jesus is never alone. Sign-up sheets are in front of the Mary statue and at the Market Street entrance. Let’s fill every hour with prayer and love for our Lord!

  2. Saturday is the Feast Day of St. Rose of Lima, our patron saint. Join us after Mass in the parish center dining room for cake and refreshments as we celebrate. The festivities continue Sunday after the 7:30 and 9:30 Masses, with The Knights hosting their Grand Slam Breakfast and more cake to share. Don’t miss out—come celebrate St. Rose with joy and community spirit!

  3. The Men Meet Monthly group meets this Tuesday at 7:00 pm in the parish center. All men are welcome.

  4. During the summer, we celebrate Friday morning Mass at the church, and this will continue while Fr. Kenneth is still with us. Please disregard notice in this weekend’s bulletin that there is only school Mass on Fridays.

OCIA (The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults) is starting Wednesday, September 24th, at 6:30 pm in the Parish Center.  If you are interested in becoming Catholic, please fill-out a registration form at the church entrances and return it to the parish office before August 25th
